Digitally illustrated stickers promoting self-care

2021 – Colorado College (CC) Chaplain Kate Holbrook asked me to create sticker designs to pass out during New Student Orientation week for first-year students. The Communications and Marketing office was severely understaffed and did not have a graphic designer at the time. As such, Kate Holbrook knew I graduated as an Art major and a recent alum, trusting that I could do the work. I designed this set of four stickers to be placed on water bottles and laptops.

The COVID-19 pandemic took a huge toll on the mental health of students around the country. In particular, it exacerbated the challenges of learning on the Block Plan for Colorado College students. The goal was to gently remind students on a daily basis to practice self-care, taking time to slow down and enjoy life.
