Lithography Experiments with Jean Gumpper

2019 – Local Colorado Springs artist and senior lecturer at Colorado College, Jean Gumpper taught a week-long workshop introducing stone lithography techniques to the Advanced Printmaking class at Colorado College. As part of this workshop, the class researched black and white and color lithography works held at the Colorado Springs Fine Art Center. All of my works are 11″ x 15″ (27.94 cm x 38.1 cm) and utilize different papers and other printmaking techniques. The imagery comes from my notes on the role of religion and ritual in the various Crestone, Colorado communities.
